Fiber Optical Cable

Fiber Optical Cable

The fiber optical cable is manufactured with various structures and materials, depending to the environment and special requirements, divided into indoor flexible cable, FTTH drop cable, outdoor overhead optical cables, outdoor direct buried optical cables, submarine optical cables, etc.

Indoor Cable

With the flexible, light and small performance, indoor fiber optical cable is mainly installed in the building or among the buildings. The indoor cable can be manufactured with single mode SM fiber G.652D, G.657A fiber, as well as the multimode MM fiber OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4, OM5, structured as simplex, duplex, multi-fiber etc..

Outdoor Cable

Outdoor fiber optical cable has good mechanical properties such as crush resistance, tensile strength and corrosion resistance, as well as environmental characteristics such as heat resistance, frost resistance and durability. It mainly used as the backbone for long-distance trunk lines, as well as that of wire transmission in local area networks, private networks, etc., and has begun to develop towards the access networks, from FTTC, FTTB to FTTH. For various applications and environmental conditions, outdoor cables can be laid overhead, direct burial, in pipeline, underwater, indoor, etc.

Drop Cable

Fiber drop cable is a kind of self-supported cable, usually laid in the complicated environment near to the end user, for its superior property of bending and tensile resistance and small size.

Armored Cable

Indoor armored optical cable is also named flexible armored optical cable. This kind of armored cable is coated with spiral metal armor and/or braided metal armor, to enhance the performance of the cable to resist tension, pressure, bending, prevent damage from the rodents, improve the convenience of wiring, and reduce maintenance costs in the later stage.
